This project is located in Halifax, NS, Canada, on the Dahousie University Campus. The stainless steel railings were custom fabricated locally by Goodspeeds Manufacturing. They contacted us to consult and supply custom LED lighting incorporated into the underside of the handrails in order to light the area to ANSI specifications. We used a special lens in order to enclose the LED to direct the light and provide a smooth, durable hand surface.
In this project, located in Halifax, NS, Canada, we installed LED under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, as well as various other locations around the condo. We also installed LED track lighting to highlight the art located in their main living spaces.
The Sinclair Inn Museum, located in the heart of Annapolis Royal, is the oldest surviving Acadian building in Canada. In addition to general LED lighting in the museum, the curators needed to light 400 year old paintings which were recently discovered under layers of old paint and were undergoing restoration. They consulted with us to find a solution which would light the partially restored paintings in a non-invasive way which would prevent further light degradation of the art.
